TRAVELLING TO SOUTH AFRICA UNDER COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS:

We’re committed to your safety and well-being.

As of 21 September 2020, the South African Department of Health has allowed us to operate in the tourism and hospitality industry within South Africa, and most normal activity has been permitted to resume with precautions and health guidelines in place.

When travelling to South Africa, the following requirements will need to be met and protocols adhered to:

• On arrival in South Africa, you need to present a negative PCR test that was taken no longer than 72 hours before arriving in South Africa. Without this you will be required to quarantine for 10-14 days at your own expense.
• You will need to go through a health screening and should you be showing any symptoms of Covid-19, you will sent for extra testing and may be requested to self-quarantine.
• It will requested that you download the official Covid-19 contact-notification and alert app for South Africa.
• It will be compulsory to wear a mask in all public spaces.
• Social distancing is practiced in all public places and visits to public places may be limited to operating regulations at the time of your visit
• Temperatures of staff, guides and clients intervals and upon entering public places, as per regulatory requirement.

Travel and Surf has instituted the following measures to ensure that we are Covid-19 compliant:

• Guides and clients are required to wear masks at all times.
• Vehicles occupancy has been limited to allow for social distancing.
• Our guides and vehicles will carry a good supply of hand sanitizer with them on each trip.
• Our vehicles are washed down and surface sanitizers sprayed daily
• Our guides have all been briefed and educated on the protocols and your safety is their priority and all staff and guides are regularly screened for symptoms
